Kelley received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Sports Injury Management from the University of South Alabama, a Master of Science in Health Promotion from Northwestern State University and a Doctorate of Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has worked as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of West Florida and a physician extender at Andrews Institute.


Kelley Henderson, Ed.D, ATC, LAT

Vice President

A certified athletic trainer for 19 years, Kelley is licensed in Florida and is a member of 

NATA and SEATA. She serves as a site visitor and review team member for the CAATE and on the NATA Foundation Educational Resources Committee. Kelley has done extensive community outreach, specifically with the Susan G. Komen 3 Day along with several events in Fort Lauderdale.

Kelley spent six years serving as Clinical Coordinator and then Program Director for Athletic Training Education at Texas Christian University before moving to Florida Gulf Coast University as the Clinical Education Coordinator. Kelley is currently working at Nova Southeastern University as an Assistant Professor in the Athletic Training Program.  Kelley is also the Vice President of MOVE PERIOD.
